Responsible for accounting ownership of assigned entities, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, expense monitoring, month-end and year-end close, audit support, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. The role also serves as a regional point of contact for financial regulations and processes while supporting the Accounting Manager and maintaining accurate financial documentation and controls.

Execute independent, four-eyes verification and control over structured FX option trades across global entities. Validate complex option structures (TARFs, barrier and path-dependent options), reconcile trades and valuations, investigate exceptions, enforce capture standards, support process improvements and system enhancements, and collaborate with Trading, Treasury, Risk, Finance and regional teams to resolve breaks and strengthen operational controls.

Leads Monex’s institutional sales desk in Madrid, owning revenue targets, client growth, pipeline discipline, regulatory compliance, and commercial execution. Manages institutional relationships across private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, and real assets, presenting FX and hedging solutions to senior financial decision-makers. Coaches and develops sales staff, leads negotiations and escalations, drives new business, and collaborates with dealing, structuring, compliance, risk, operations, marketing, and international teams.
