Designs, analyzes, documents, tests, and supports precision opto-mechanical assemblies, laser systems, and photonic products. Performs structural, thermal, vibration, fluid, and heat-transfer analysis; designs optical flexures and metrology setups; conducts experiments; supports fabrication, procurement, integration, and testing. The role requires extensive mechanical engineering expertise, CAD and quantitative analysis, technical documentation, independent execution, collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers in a startup environment.
