Lead a backend and cloud platform engineering team responsible for Node.js/NestJS services on AWS. Own APIs, event-driven processing, file ingestion, data synchronization, CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, incident response, and production operations. Drive vendor-to-internal support transition through knowledge transfer, runbooks, on-call practices, and operational readiness. Mentor engineers, prioritize work, conduct technical reviews, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve system reliability, security, and recoverability.

Configure, test, release, and support decision-platform rules, workflows, integrations, and application journeys. Translate business requirements and data into scalable customer decision solutions, collaborating with Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, and Data teams. Use SQL and analytical methods to validate outcomes, monitor performance, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and improve accuracy, customer experience, efficiency, and controls.

Supports business process transformation by analyzing current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, documenting process maps and SOPs, facilitating stakeholder workshops, tracking performance metrics, and implementing optimized processes. The role contributes to continuous improvement, change adoption, data analysis, and exploration of automation technologies such as RPA. It requires cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and process mapping.
