Quality Engineer responsible for APQP and PPAP documentation, launch support, production quality investigations, corrective actions, customer and supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement. The role works across manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, machining, coatings, and assembly while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, capability studies, inspection planning, quality reporting, and reducing scrap, rework, and customer complaints.

Operate production and assembly equipment including welders, robotic weld cells, stamping presses, grinders, benders, and forklifts. Load and unload parts, change welding components, perform quality checks, package products, make minor adjustments, complete production documentation, and build shipping boxes. Follow work instructions, use PPE, safely handle up to 40 pounds repetitively, and work effectively in a factory team environment.

Performs assigned production tasks on a manufacturing assembly line while following work instructions, company policies, ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 guidelines. Supports quality, production, scrap, rework, and delivery goals. Requires standing, walking, repetitive motion, bending, and lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds. Overtime and short-notice schedule flexibility may be required.
