Lead and expand Seafarer Marine's nationwide commercial marine underwriting function. Set underwriting strategy, authority levels, pricing, and risk selection. Oversee portfolio performance, partner with actuarial and claims, build broker and carrier relationships, develop underwriting talent, and drive profitable premium growth and product expansion across commercial, ocean, inland marine, and specialty yacht segments.

Own day-to-day operations for assigned MGAs, liaise with outsourced providers, manage agency onboarding, perform credit control and reconciliations, maintain process documentation, support compliance checks, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement and SLA adherence.

Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions using LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, and cloud-native architectures. Integrate AI into underwriting and enterprise systems, implement prompt engineering, monitoring, governance, and operational best practices, and support scalable, secure AI services across the business.

Lead analysis and implementation of technology platforms: gather and document business requirements, analyze data for insights, define standards and best practices, design and execute testing, manage projects and timelines, build stakeholder relationships, and deliver presentations on progress and findings.

The Intern will assist the Underwriting team by helping analyze reports, process policies, and participate in special projects under guidance, alongside training in property insurance underwriting.

Provide day-to-day HR support across the UK and Europe: act as first point of contact for employees and managers, manage full employee lifecycle, handle employee relations (performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance), support payroll/benefits administration, maintain HRIS data and reporting, coordinate L&D and recruitment activities, ensure legal and policy compliance, and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement.
