Leads the design, programming, documentation, debugging, validation, and startup of controls systems for custom automated equipment. Mentors entry-level controls engineers, supports quoting with technical and cost estimates, coordinates across departments, manages project scope and timelines, and ensures equipment meets specifications. The role also documents machine changes and issues, communicates project status, and may require domestic and international travel.

Leads mechanical design and development of custom automated equipment from concept through installation and startup. Serves as technical project lead, mentors junior engineers, reviews designs, solves complex engineering problems, manages project scope and schedules, supports quoting, and collaborates with controls, manufacturing, purchasing, assembly, service, and customers to deliver reliable, cost-effective systems.
