Mission Design & Automation Benefits Overview

Lead mechanical design of custom automated equipment from concept through installation. Solve complex engineering challenges, mentor junior engineers, manage project schedules/budgets, review designs for manufacturability and compliance, collaborate cross-functionally, support sales/quoting, participate in design reviews, and oversee machine startup and customer acceptance.

Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering teams to develop and present custom automation concepts, create proposals and quotations, define project scope, support project kickoff and execution, and travel (~20%) to customer meetings and trade shows.

Lead design, implementation, documentation, and validation of controls systems for custom automated equipment. Mentor junior engineers, support quoting, coordinate debugging/power-up, communicate project status across teams, ensure projects meet specifications, scope, schedule, and budget. May require domestic and international travel.
