Support the CIO and Portfolio Manager in researching, evaluating, monitoring, and managing long/short equity hedge fund investments. Conduct manager due diligence, develop hiring and divestment recommendations, negotiate investment terms, and maintain manager documentation. Build and implement quantitative frameworks, including data cleansing, backtesting, statistical analysis, reporting, and production tools, while generating insights to inform investment decisions.

Supports portfolio managers and the CIO in evaluating, selecting, monitoring, and negotiating investments with external hedge funds, including quantitative and CTA strategies. Conducts manager research, develops investment assessment and return forecasting frameworks, and makes evidence-based hiring or divestment recommendations. Also supports internal macro trading research by optimizing quantitative strategies and managing automated analytics. The role requires strong quantitative investment expertise, communication skills, decisiveness, and interest in owning investment decisions.

Supports wealth planners and investment advisors serving high-net-worth clients by organizing and analyzing client data, maintaining eMoney or Vanilla records, building financial models and estate tax scenarios, reviewing planning documents, conducting estate and tax research, preparing client materials, and coordinating follow-up. The role also maintains educational resources, planning templates, legislative updates, and third-party provider directories.
