The Motor Designer will own the design of custom motors, optimizing for torque density and compact packaging. Responsibilities include electromagnetic simulation, mechanical design, prototype testing, and collaboration with engineering partners.

Lead hands-on development of a real-time robotics runtime and middleware platform for industrial robots. Design low-latency communication, QoS, multi-process execution, sensor synchronization, and onboard model inference serving. Make architecture and hardware decisions, optimize model deployment, conduct design and code reviews, and collaborate directly with research teams. The role also requires taking real-time systems from prototypes to reliable operation on physical hardware while balancing experimentation speed, determinism, fault tolerance, and safety.

Own end-to-end IT operations for a robotics company, including internal support, identity and endpoint management, multi-OS troubleshooting, lab and compute infrastructure, networking, hardware procurement, and facility readiness. Build AI-native automations using LLMs, MCP, APIs, and coding tools to streamline ticket triage, provisioning, access management, onboarding, and system reconciliation. Support office and robotics lab environments through hands-on infrastructure setup and scaling.
