Design, implement, and tune control algorithms and dynamic models for robot joints and whole-body motion. Build simulation infrastructure, analyze real-world data, collaborate with firmware/mechanical/electrical teams, and validate control performance across the robots operating envelope.

Design, implement, and maintain production firmware for robotic systems using C/C++ or Rust. Develop real-time control loops, integrate sensors and actuators, manage microcontroller peripherals, and implement embedded communication protocols. Collaborate with electrical engineers on board bring-up and hardware-software interfaces. Build validation tooling, debug hardware/software interactions, and support field deployment.

Design and own tactile sensor electronics from transducer interface through digitization to deliver synchronized, low-noise, time-stamped data. Tasks include analog front-end and ADC selection, multiplexing and scanning architectures, high-density flex/rigid-flex PCB design, EMI/ESD mitigation, electrical characterization and bench bring-up, firmware-adjacent driver work, and scaling designs for volume manufacturing while collaborating with mechanical, firmware, controls, and ML teams.
