Design Engineer I supports thermal-solution product development from concept through production launch. Responsibilities include interpreting customer requirements, developing and reviewing designs, coordinating new product introductions, creating technical documentation and test procedures, supporting production and quality teams, evaluating materials and tooling, and leading continuous-improvement activities. The role requires proficiency with 3D CAD and Microsoft Office, knowledge of manufacturing methods, FMEA, DOE, capability studies, and design for manufacturability. Travel may reach 20% or more, and ITAR compliance limits eligibility to U.S. persons.

Designs, programs, troubleshoots, and optimizes automated manufacturing control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control, SCADA, data acquisition, and safety systems. Collaborates with production and quality teams, supports equipment installations and upgrades, maintains technical documentation, and drives continuous process improvement. The role operates across office, engineering, and production-floor environments with possible travel.
