The role operates across office, engineering, and production-floor environments with possible travel.

Design Engineer I supports thermal-solution product development from concept through production launch. Responsibilities include interpreting customer requirements, developing and reviewing designs, coordinating new product introductions, creating technical documentation and test procedures, supporting production and quality teams, evaluating materials and tooling, and leading continuous-improvement activities. The role requires proficiency with 3D CAD and Microsoft Office, knowledge of manufacturing methods, FMEA, DOE, capability studies, and design for manufacturability. Travel may reach 20% or more, and ITAR compliance limits eligibility to U.S. persons.

Sets up new flex circuit products through RFQ review, DFM analysis, NPI, BOM and routing creation, documentation, prototyping, and production release. Provides technical support to production, quality, sales, suppliers, and customers; investigates materials, processes, and tooling; and contributes to continuous improvement and qualification testing. The role is on-site in manufacturing and engineering environments and requires approximately 20% or more domestic and international travel.
