Teams at Milwaukee Art Museum

Manages the Milwaukee Art Museum’s support groups, serving as liaison to boards, members, curatorial staff, and Museum leadership. Develops annual event and communications schedules, supports fundraising and membership renewal efforts, coordinates programs and trips, promotes membership, and cultivates relationships with artists, collectors, curators, and partners. The role requires strong communication, project management, organization, research, and relationship-building skills, along with periodic evening and weekend availability.

Plans and executes the Lakefront Festival of Art and supports Museum events. Coordinates project timelines, volunteer committees, artists, vendors, sponsors, clients, and internal departments; manages event logistics, communications, setup, on-site execution, post-event evaluation, documentation, billing, and reconciliation. Requires strong organization, communication, customer service, flexibility, and availability for evening, weekend, early morning, and occasional holiday work.

Leads the Museum’s Events team and drives business development, earned revenue, attendance, and strategic partnerships. Oversees event planning, external rentals, catering relationships, contracts, vendors, budgets, forecasting, client service, and operational execution. Develops corporate, tourism, hospitality, and community partnerships while supervising staff, managing performance indicators, and ensuring events meet financial, safety, service, and institutional objectives.
