Teams at Mill

The Hardware Systems Engineer will lead interdisciplinary projects on the development and optimization of Mill's food recycling technology, focusing on system performance and collaboration with various engineering teams.

Lead the commercial hardware product roadmap from development through launch and post-launch iterations. Define requirements, prioritize tradeoffs, coordinate Engineering, Ops, Design, and Sales, synthesize field and customer feedback, track metrics, and drive product decisions to ensure cost, reliability, serviceability, and user experience goals are met.

Design, build, and run electromechanical test fixtures and measurement systems to validate product functionality and reliability. Integrate sensors and DAQ, collaborate with firmware/algorithms/mechanical teams, analyze and visualize test data, document procedures, create reports, and troubleshoot field issues to inform design improvements.
