Leads complex mechanical engineering projects involving system and component design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, tooling collaboration, and process improvement. Applies CAD, static FEA, kinematics, risk management, and Six Sigma methods. Provides technical leadership, mentors junior engineers and technicians, conducts design reviews, investigates defects, and develops innovative solutions with minimal supervision.

Leads firmware architecture and development for complex embedded systems, including RTOS-based designs. Provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, conducts code reviews, optimizes performance and memory usage, and drives reliability, quality, and process improvements. Collaborates cross-functionally on system-level decisions, researches solutions to ambiguous problems, communicates technical strategies, and establishes standardized firmware development practices.

Plans and leads medium-to-large engineering product development projects from concept through launch. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, milestones, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and product management. Communicates project status to leadership, facilitates technical meetings and design reviews, resolves issues, and drives action items to completion in a regulated product development environment.
