Teams at Midland States Bank

Supports the Salesforce team with Financial Services Cloud administration, user support, issue resolution, data mappings, integrations, enhancements, development, testing, defect resolution, and project work. The intern gains exposure to Salesforce functionality, application lifecycle processes, and connections between business applications and data flows while working with team members and a designated coach.

Supports IT infrastructure operations through documentation, inventory, hardware replacement and configuration, server maintenance and patching, technology refreshes, and lifecycle modernization projects. Gains exposure to networking, servers, cloud, security, storage, authentication, collaboration tools, monitoring, and automation. May assist with PowerShell or Python scripting. Collaborates with infrastructure teams, IT departments, and business units while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Supports Accounting and FP&A teams with account reconciliations, financial close activities, budgeting, forecasting, quarterly reporting, system implementations, process improvements, and special projects. The role requires collaboration, regulatory compliance, analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications. This is a full-time, local summer internship based in Effingham, Illinois.
