Provides comprehensive nursing care for orthopedic and neurology patients, including assessments, nursing diagnoses, care planning, interventions, patient education, outcome evaluation, documentation, infection control, and coordination with healthcare teams. Ultrasound Tech Interns perform imaging-related functions under the supervision of faculty or a clinical preceptor while enrolled in a contracted formal educational program. Responsibilities require safe performance within their educational foundation, effective communication, information analysis, completion of hospital continuing education, and adherence to physical requirements including standing, lifting, and assisting with patient or equipment handling.

Provides overnight hospital medicine care on a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule. The role requires a board-certified advanced practice provider with a Texas license and at least two years of hospitalist or ICU experience. Procedural experience is preferred.

Ensures compliance with payer requirements, billing regulations, and pricing policies while communicating coding and billing changes to clinical departments. Collaborates with HIM coders, department heads, compliance, and billing leadership to identify and report significant findings.
