Provide strategic financial business partnering and management accounting support to MKC Training. Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly management accounts, variance analysis, financial modelling, business cases, and improvements. Line-manage the Management Accountant, deputise for the CFO, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and collaborate with corporate services to support decision-making and organisational performance.

Plans and delivers tailored workshops and one-to-one support for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Develops personalised learning goals from EHCP outcomes, supports independence, employability and life skills, monitors and reports progress, and coordinates interventions with teaching staff, families and external agencies. The role also supports student interviews, transition planning, annual reviews, extracurricular activities and inclusive access to college learning and facilities.

Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff across the college. Support recruitment, absence management, occupational health referrals, produce and interpret People data, handle employee relations and performance management, assist change processes, deliver training on HR/L&D systems, support shared services and People projects, and manage less complex ER matters within an allocated portfolio.
