Support day-to-day accounting for a metal recycling facility including AP/AR, vendor payments, reconciliations, invoicing, month-end close, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset tracking, and reporting while ensuring internal controls and resolving transaction discrepancies.

Manage general accounting operations and staff, produce GAAP financial statements, oversee AR and cash application, maintain GL reconciliations and accruals, value scrap metal inventory, track operational costs, support budgeting/forecasting and audits, implement internal controls, and assist ERP/accounting automation and reporting to leadership.
