Teams at Michaels Stores

Manage location research and real estate analytics supporting new stores, relocations, existing store optimization, and market planning. Develop and maintain GIS, sales forecasting, and spatial analytics models; analyze trade areas, demographics, market trends, competitive intelligence, and store performance. Partner with Real Estate, Finance, Operations, Store Planning, and Construction teams, manage analytical data vendors, coordinate Real Estate Committee materials, and lead reporting and performance analysis.

Supports global sourcing strategies for private-brand product categories by analyzing RFP and cost data, monitoring project timelines, coordinating vendor and cross-functional activities, validating vendor setup paperwork, managing quote sheets and item setup, and communicating shortages or delivery issues. The role also supports negotiations, meetings, vendor visits, and collaboration with overseas offices and suppliers.

Supports human resources operations for a distribution center, including recruiting, interviewing, employee relations, performance management, training, benefits administration, leave tracking, HR reporting, compliance, and employee events. Provides management counsel, coordinates staffing agencies and background checks, assists with HR staff supervision, and serves as backup to the HR Manager in a multi-shift warehouse environment.
