Conducts proactive and responsive prospect research to evaluate donor capacity, affinity, and engagement. Develops research profiles, due diligence reports, briefings, prospect lists, and analytical materials supporting fundraising and stewardship. Maintains prospect records, analyzes wealth screening and institutional data, monitors relevant developments, and advises development staff on portfolio management and cultivation strategies. Also supports research tools, documentation, training, and process improvements while handling confidential information.

Leads Miami University’s 52-person Development organization and serves as Chief Development Officer of the Miami University Foundation. The role oversees campaign completion, post-campaign fundraising strategy, major- and principal-gift pipelines, talent development, organizational structure, donor and academic partnerships, and Foundation governance. Responsibilities include setting fundraising goals, using Slate and reporting data, supporting senior leaders and volunteers, presenting to the Foundation Board, and personally advancing significant gift opportunities. The position is based in Oxford, Ohio, with hybrid eligibility and regular travel.

Provides overnight hotel front desk and customer service support, including guest check-in and checkout, reservations, phone assistance, payment processing, room access programming, financial closing procedures, room-status updates, inventory support, recordkeeping, and maintenance coordination. Works primarily night, weekend, and holiday shifts while serving as the welcoming representative for the hotel and assisting guests with campus-related questions.
