Provides technical investment and proposition support to distribution teams and account managers. Presents investment solutions to advisers, industry bodies, and internal audiences; leads seminars and workshops; coaches and trains sales teams; champions product propositions; and supports distribution strategy. Requires extensive knowledge of investment, pension, Trust, inheritance tax, legislative, and regulatory matters, along with strong presentation, influencing, collaboration, and travel capabilities.

Support actuarial liability valuation for M&G’s life and pensions business, including annuities, with-profits, and unit-linked products. Responsibilities include analyzing liabilities and matching adjustment assumptions, producing financial reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS 17, and Solvency II, explaining results to stakeholders, supporting regulatory deadlines, and contributing technical expertise to finance reporting change projects.

The Actuarial Manager will perform liability valuation, explain changes in liabilities to stakeholders, maintain strong controls, provide technical actuarial guidance, coach junior colleagues, and contribute expertise to technical solutions and change projects within UK Finance Reporting. The role involves collaboration with actuarial consolidation teams, the Chief Actuary Team, and external auditors, requiring strong actuarial knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and commercial awareness.
