Teams at Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges

Supervises daily school-age childcare and Childwatch operations, ensuring child safety, licensing compliance, staffing coverage, curriculum delivery, family communication, documentation, and program quality. Leads, schedules, trains, and coaches frontline staff while maintaining safe, welcoming, and engaging environments. Handles attendance, incidents, health records, emergency procedures, supplies, and coordination with families, schools, and YMCA leadership.

Leads adaptive, inclusive, and caregiver-child programs through direct teaching, curriculum development, individualized accommodations, family engagement, and participant support. Coordinates schedules, facilities, equipment, records, outreach, and program evaluation while recruiting and supervising instructors and volunteers. Builds community partnerships, promotes enrollment and retention, maintains safe and inclusive environments, follows YMCA policies, and responds appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Leads movement, dance, and music classes for children, teens, and adults; develops age-appropriate curriculum; adapts instruction for varied abilities; mentors instructors and volunteers; coordinates showcases and performances; supports enrollment and outreach; tracks attendance and progress; maintains safe, organized studios and follows YMCA risk-management and child-protection policies.
