Teams at Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges

Supervise and mentor campers and junior counselors in a seasonal day camp. Plan and lead activities, ensure safety and adherence to YMCA values, build relationships with families, assist specialists, manage behavior, complete trainings and incident reporting, and support camp operations and events.

Lead and ensure the safety of assigned school-age children, run activities and games, assist with snacks and homework, enforce hygiene and behavior policies, maintain clean program spaces, follow first-aid and emergency procedures, build relationships with families and school staff, complete required certifications and background checks, and support program promotion and special events.

Lead major gift and annual campaign fundraising for assigned YMCA branches by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors. Manage a portfolio of prospects, prepare proposals and impact communications, maintain CRM records, use wealth screening and donor analytics, partner with branch leaders and volunteers, provide fundraising training, represent the YMCA in the community, and meet annual revenue goals.
