Teams at Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges

Provide high-supervision care for before- and after-school children, lead activities, ensure safety and hygiene, assist with snacks and homework, follow YMCA protocols for emergencies and behavior management, build relationships with families and school staff, maintain cleanliness and required certifications, and complete background and health screenings.

Assist the Site Supervisor with daily operations of the before/after-school program. Supervise children, lead or support activities (CATCH, Healthy U), assist with snacks and homework, maintain safety and hygiene protocols, participate in drills, build relationships with children and families, complete required trainings and background checks, and support special events and program promotion.

Supervise and engage a group of children in a seasonal day camp, build positive relationships with campers and families, plan and lead activities, maintain safety and cleanliness, follow trainings and aquatics policies, assist with bus and pool duties, and model YMCA core values.
