Teams at Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges

Provides strategic leadership for YMCA membership sales, retention, engagement, service, and operations. Oversees membership transactions, data accuracy, financial reconciliation, dashboards, satisfaction metrics, and performance reporting. Develops growth and retention strategies, supports community outreach and marketing, improves operational processes, and leads membership staff. Collaborates with branch and association leadership to advance strategic priorities, member experience, and organizational mission.

Lead and supervise groups of children, ensuring safety, hygiene, and positive behavior. Implement games, physical activities, snacks, and homework support; build relationships with children, families, and school personnel; respond to emergencies; maintain clean program spaces; support special events and YMCA initiatives; and complete required training, certifications, and background checks.

Supervise daily before- and after-school programming, ensuring child safety, accurate attendance, licensing compliance, staff coordination, positive behavior management, and engaging curriculum activities. The role oversees group leaders and assistants, communicates with parents and school staff, manages incidents and health procedures, maintains a clean environment, supports events and YMCA programs, and completes required documentation, training, and certifications.
