Metropolitan Library System Benefits Overview

Assists library members by issuing and receiving materials, locating resources, managing accounts, issuing library cards, providing service information, supporting self-service equipment and technology, and performing basic collection maintenance. The role requires customer service, evening and weekend availability, and work at the Del City Library.

Under direction of the Access Manager, assists patrons by issuing and receiving library materials, locating items, managing library accounts and cards, helping with self-service equipment and basic collection maintenance. Works assigned schedule including evenings and rotating weekend shifts at the Belle Isle Library.

Under direct supervision, the Engagement Specialist II supports library strategic goals by assisting patrons and delivering timely programs and services inside and outside the library. The role works at East Edmond Library (with initial placement at other system locations for training), follows scheduled shifts, helps build community relationships, and aids in planning and evaluating programs for the new facility opening in late 2026.
