Lead a hands-on DevOps and platform engineering function for AWS-hosted identity platforms running on EKS and ECS. Develop Terraform modules, Helm charts, Docker images, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines; implement automated, performance, and infrastructure testing; support production services; investigate incidents; and improve observability, security, and reliability. Mentor engineers, review designs and code, lead Agile ceremonies, produce technical documentation, and own services throughout their lifecycle.

Lead test engineering activities within agile squads, govern test teams and processes, and implement automation across unit, integration, and system testing. The role requires coaching engineers, conducting peer reviews, advising stakeholders on risk-based testing, and coordinating tooling and processes across multiple teams. Engineers work with Java and Node.js microservices using BDD, TDD, and 12-factor principles. The role is remote with occasional UK travel and requires or involves obtaining security clearance.

Lead user-centred content design for public-sector digital products and services. Plan, write, manage, and improve accessible content aligned with GDS and GOV.UK standards. Collaborate with stakeholders, user researchers, and multidisciplinary agile teams; explain content decisions, solve design problems, and advocate for accessibility. Coach and mentor content designers, support the lead designer with planning and recruitment, contribute to the Content Design Community of Practice, and help develop strategies and quality improvements.
