Selective, on-site recruiting event for PhD and Master’s candidates interested in full-time technical roles at MetOx International. Participants will present research, tour advanced superconducting-wire manufacturing operations, and interview for opportunities in thin-film process development, equipment engineering, materials characterization, surface engineering, process integration, controls, automation, and manufacturing data science. Selected candidates attend an all-expenses-paid two-day event in Houston and may be considered for Houston-based positions.

Leads development, optimization, qualification, and scale-up of sputtering and thin-film deposition processes for continuous HTS wire manufacturing. Designs statistically rigorous experiments, improves yield and film quality, establishes process controls, troubleshoots complex manufacturing issues, and drives corrective actions. Partners cross-functionally on production integration, documentation, validation, and supplier coordination while mentoring junior engineers and leading technical improvement projects.

Leads the design, development, testing, and integration of cryogenic systems supporting high-temperature superconducting technologies. Responsibilities include thermal analysis, laboratory validation, prototype development, technical documentation, component procurement, partner integration, project ownership, and customer collaboration. Provides technical mentorship and contributes to engineering best practices and commercialization of superconducting solutions.
