Manages Great Lakes and inland barge transportation strategy, carrier and terminal relationships, marine contracts, capacity planning, nominations, laycans, rates, and service performance. Oversees demurrage, delivery issues, invoices, contingencies, and marine negotiations while providing logistics inputs to S&OP. Requires coordination with carriers, vessel operators, terminals, agents, Sales, and internal logistics teams, plus periodic travel to industrial and marine facilities.

Analyzes pricing, shipment, inventory, contract, settlement, and logistics data to support commercial decisions, S&OP planning, freight outcomes, and management reporting. Owns mark-to-market analysis, pricing and landed-cost assessments, contract performance monitoring, logistics KPI evaluation, invoice and settlement reviews, reconciliation, and data-quality controls. Develops dashboards and recommendations for senior commercial leaders while coordinating with sales, finance, logistics providers, carriers, terminals, and other stakeholders.

Provides on-site IT support for project offices and personnel, including hardware, software, networking, devices, Microsoft 365, and enterprise systems. Sets up infrastructure, provisions user accounts, troubleshoots technical issues, maintains asset and licensing records, coordinates vendors, documents procedures, and supports cybersecurity and policy compliance. The role also assists with office launches, escalates complex issues, and may travel occasionally between project locations.
