Supports the Nurse Manager in leading perioperative services across Day Surgery, OR, PACU, and Endoscopy. Oversees daily operations, staff development, scheduling, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, patient-care coordination, and service excellence. Provides clinical support during emergencies, mentors staff, addresses complaints and performance issues, manages supplies, and promotes evidence-based, safe patient care. The role requires evening availability and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Coordinates pre- and post-liver transplant care, including candidate evaluations, patient education, UNOS listing, clinical documentation, care planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Performs nursing assessments and interventions, supports transplant processes, mentors staff, and promotes regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and continuity of care. The role requires a Texas nursing license, transplant certification, transplant clinical experience, and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Coordinates non-clinical services and daily operations for a hospital patient care unit. Responsibilities include managing supplies, work orders, patient flow, admissions and transfers, testing schedules, records, charges, meal services, call lights, visitors, and operational data. The role supports patient care teams, resolves unit issues, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures safe, efficient, compassionate service while working full-time days, including weekends and holidays.
