Leads Germany-focused strategic communications and campaigns on climate, energy, and nature issues. Develops desk strategy, monitors political and media debates, crafts messaging, coordinates campaigns, manages media and stakeholder relationships, plans crisis communications, tracks impact, develops spokespeople, leads the Germany team, and manages the desk budget. The role requires strong German political and media expertise, fluent German and English, strategic storytelling skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote international environment.

Responsibilities include creating press and digital content, pitching stories to journalists and influencers, managing media and partner relationships, supporting spokesperson development, monitoring political and media landscapes, analyzing campaign performance, and providing communications advice to climate-sector organizations. The role is Italy-based and remote-first, with some international travel.
