Leads hospital operations in partnership with the Medical Director, overseeing clinical services, employee leadership, hiring, development, budgeting, regulatory compliance, patient and client experience, referral relationships, complaint resolution, and interdepartmental coordination across emergency and specialty services. Provides 24/7 phone support for urgent clinical management issues and drives continuous improvement.

Supervises veterinary nursing and clinical services staff during shifts, assigns responsibilities, manages staffing changes, prioritizes workflows, addresses employee and client concerns, escalates issues, mentors team members, and supports patient care. The role requires veterinary experience, medication and infusion calculation proficiency, flexibility, strong communication, and participation in on-call duties and administrative meetings.
