Manage inpatient and outpatient billing and claims: prepare and submit clean claims, follow payer regulations, resolve denials and appeals, handle patient and payer inquiries, educate providers/residents on coding and documentation, use EHR and online databases, and ensure HIPAA and FQHC billing compliance.

Provide outpatient eye care including comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat visual disorders and eye diseases (glaucoma, cataract, diabetic eye disease), prescribe corrective lenses and medications, fit spectacles/contacts, read retinal scans, maintain medical records, participate in quality improvement, and collaborate with clinical teams.

Lead enterprise compliance and risk management for a multi-site FQHC. Ensure HRSA/FTCA and Joint Commission compliance, HIPAA and OSHA adherence, oversee incident investigations, develop policies, provide training, conduct audits, and advise leadership to minimize malpractice and safety risks across medical, dental, behavioral health, lab, and pharmacy services.
