The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading nursing operations in a correctional healthcare setting, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and managing nursing staff. They oversee budgets, develop protocols, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Develop and validate pricing models and financial proposals for correctional healthcare RFPs. Analyze staffing matrices, labor costs, startup and operational expenses, and contractual risks. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Recruiting, Finance, and Business Development to align pricing with operational feasibility. Maintain market and competitor intelligence, prepare executive summaries, and support post-award transitions and ad hoc financial analyses.

Provide person-centered reentry assessments, develop individualized care plans, coordinate medical and behavioral health services, connect justice-involved clients to community resources, document per Medicaid and facility requirements, and collaborate with clinical teams and external partners to ensure continuity of care during transition from incarceration to community.
