Process and update accounts with documentation and status updates; handle incoming legal documents and correspondence; post payments; research public records and incident reports; contact records departments; and mail/fax/hand-deliver documents to obtain payment for clients.

Perform onsite medical billing support including document processing, scanning, insurance verification, account follow-up with patients and insurers, phone work, mailing/faxing, and daily client interactions while meeting deadlines and using multiple software systems.

Screen patients at bedside, phone, and walk-ins to evaluate eligibility for third-party payer programs (Medicaid, SSI, county/state programs). Assist applicants with forms, gather documents, communicate with government offices, manage follow-up inventory, document status in hospital and company systems, and coordinate with hospital staff to resolve accounts.
