Prepares and assembles patient meal trays, vegetables, salads, beverages, and other food items according to menus and portion guidelines. Maintains salad and dessert bars, kitchen and dining area cleanliness, sanitation, and dish room operations. Stocks supplies, delivers items to patient units, assists cooks, and follows safety and infection-control procedures to support a welcoming dining experience.

Coordinate utilization management and insurance certification/recertification, communicate insurer requirements to the treatment team, chair treatment team meetings and continued stay reviews, advocate for patient access to services, and support discharge planning through collaboration with clinicians and external case managers/managed care organizations.
