Designs, develops, tests, and improves valve and waterworks products throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include creating SolidWorks designs, drawings, bills of material, product documentation, and customer submittals; supporting manufacturing, inspection, testing, certification, troubleshooting, and corrective actions; and leading new product development and improvement projects. The role works across engineering, foundry, quality, sales, and production teams in both office and manufacturing environments.

Supports daily HR operations across Birmingham and five remote sites, including employee records, HRIS administration, benefits, performance appraisals, recruiting, onboarding, investigations, compliance training, employee engagement, and McWane Way cultural training. Coaches managers, leads open enrollment and performance processes, coordinates recruiting events, and maintains confidential personnel information. Requires at least two years of HR experience, with regular travel of at least 25%.

Manages full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, HRIS and payroll coordination, workforce data, learning and development administration, employee relations documentation, engagement initiatives, and HR metrics reporting. Partners with managers and employees to resolve payroll discrepancies, maintain accurate records, support compliance and training, address performance issues, and promote a positive workplace culture.
