Manages patient care progression, utilization review, discharge planning, and medical-necessity assessments in an acute-care hospital. Coordinates with patients, families, physicians, payors, and multidisciplinary teams to reduce discharge barriers, monitor length of stay, optimize resource use, prevent denials, and support quality, cost-effective outcomes. Covers multiple patient populations, including the Emergency Department.

Codes professional fee claims using CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes; reviews documentation for compliance and accuracy; supports billing denials and appeals; maintains payer guideline knowledge; communicates coding trends; collaborates with providers and billing teams; meets productivity standards; and may travel to satellite offices.

Administers and expands the ServiceNow ITSM platform, including permissions, roles, groups, service catalogs, SLAs, CMDB health, system performance, data imports, update sets, migrations, patching, and upgrades. Provides application support, end-user training, and process and knowledge documentation. Requires strong communication skills, ITIL knowledge, and experience supporting IT applications in complex environments.
