The Assurance Staff Accountant will work within the firm’s Assurance segment, supporting accounting and client service activities in a collaborative regional accounting firm. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and meet or be on track to meet the 150-credit academic requirement for CPA licensure. Performs staff accounting responsibilities within the firm’s Assurance segment, supporting client engagements in a collaborative public accounting environment. Candidates must earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting before starting and meet or be positioned to meet the 150-credit educational requirement for CPA licensure. Summer assurance interns support audit and advisory teams by preparing organized workpapers, performing basic analytical reviews, identifying financial inconsistencies, using firm software, communicating with clients, and managing assignments. Interns develop auditing competencies, professional skepticism, written and verbal communication skills, and client-service abilities while working at least 32 hours per week in the office from May 18 through July 29, 2027.
