Leads multidisciplinary mining and heavy industrial projects from planning and design through construction and operational support. Manages scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, quality, contracts, and client relationships while providing technical engineering expertise. Coordinates engineering disciplines, supports proposals and business development, mentors junior staff, and participates in field investigations, construction reviews, commissioning, and site execution across British Columbia, Yukon, and Western Canada.

Scholarship for Canadian post-secondary students pursuing STEM careers in civil engineering, geomatics, GIS, remote sensing, or digital innovation. The recipient receives up to $5,000, mentorship, recognition, and a paid internship aligned with their career goals. Applicants must demonstrate technical innovation, academic excellence, and experience with digital solutions such as automation, AI, software, data analytics, or geospatial technologies.

Geomatics interns support surveying projects in field and office settings across the East Kootenay region. Responsibilities include using GNSS receivers and total stations, preparing maps and survey data, researching geospatial documents, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and learning drones, 3D laser scanning, reality capture, and data-processing technologies. The role requires outdoor and backcountry work, travel, physical equipment handling, safety awareness, and enrollment in a geomatics diploma or degree program.
