Test, validate, troubleshoot, and improve cryogenic systems and dilution refrigerator subsystems. Develop test plans, operate advanced cryogenic equipment, investigate reliability and uptime risks, support customer installations and issue resolution, document inspection procedures, and apply pressure-safety, relief-sizing, and oxygen-deficiency hazard practices. The role requires expertise in cryogenic thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, vacuum systems, cryogen handling, CAD, and engineering analysis.

Responsibilities include defining specifications, creating mechanical designs and documentation, troubleshooting root causes, implementing design changes, managing subsystem development, executing engineering change orders, and transitioning products into scalable manufacturing. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, prototyping, testing, and supporting product safety and quality requirements.
