The Senior Systems Engineer will facilitate cross-functional engineering efforts, support system design, and collaborate with Japan's team for autonomous vehicle projects. Responsibilities include technical requirements analysis, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Design and deploy production-grade ML models and pipelines for lane- and route-level semantic/topological mapping. Research and evaluate neural architectures (detection, segmentation, depth, 3D), build data curation/auto-labeling/active learning systems, develop evaluation metrics, and integrate mapping features into the AV fleet through testing, reviews, and collaboration with autonomy teams.

Develop and maintain perception CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and inference/runtime infrastructure for on-vehicle models. Implement and improve heuristic perception methods (geometry, filtering, tracking), support model deployment and performance tuning, build testing and monitoring tooling, write production-quality code, diagnose issues, and support data/ML pipelines to enable reliable real-time autonomous vehicle perception.
