Onboard and activate new merchant accounts by reviewing applications, pricing, approvals, and account data for completeness and accuracy. Enter and synchronize information across multiple systems, process corrections and account updates, handle sensitive maintenance requests, communicate with partners and internal teams, and support departmental projects, meetings, training, and workload management.

Leads Maverick Payments’ Relationship Management function, overseeing partner satisfaction, retention, engagement, escalations, portfolio health, and revenue growth. Manages and develops relationship management teams, maintains executive-level ISO and strategic partner relationships, establishes performance metrics, and identifies cross-sell and expansion opportunities. Collaborates with Sales, Risk, Finance, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership on partner strategy and business improvement. Requires quarterly travel for leadership meetings, partner visits, and company events.

The Director of Accounting leads general ledger, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and monthly and annual close processes. The role oversees GAAP-compliant statements, annual audits, internal controls, accounting policies, process automation, and financial systems evaluation. It partners with finance, operations, compliance, and executives while managing and developing accounting staff. The position is onsite in The Woodlands, Texas, or Calabasas, California.
