Own the Group tax agenda, including UK corporation tax compliance, VAT, current and deferred tax reporting, restructuring, acquisition due diligence, tax governance, R&D claims, forecasting, and Making Tax Digital readiness. Manage HMRC and adviser relationships, support audits, improve tax systems and controls, and advise senior finance colleagues and subsidiary boards. The role also contributes to tax strategy, process development, and junior colleague development.

Supports HR administration, Workday data entry, employee record maintenance, onboarding documentation, tracking starters and leavers, training records, reporting, communications, and data quality checks. The apprentice receives supervision, works toward a Level 3 HR Support qualification, handles confidential information, and supports People projects while developing practical HR administration skills.
