Jobs at Matroid, Inc.

Build and productionize deep learning and computer vision models for detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, tracking, video understanding, vision-language, and 3D reconstruction. Develop adaptive ML training systems, optimize inference for cloud GPUs and edge devices, and turn research into customer-facing platform capabilities. Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and field engineering teams to deliver reliable multimodal vision solutions.

Design and implement scalable, secure systems and shared infrastructure for a computer vision platform. Build tooling, libraries, and automation to increase engineering efficiency, apply infrastructure-as-code and observability best practices, and collaborate with product, deep learning, and field engineering teams. Onsite in Palo Alto.

Build and ship full-stack features for a computer vision platform: design UI/UX and server components, improve performance and scalability, create visualizations for model outputs, incorporate user feedback, and contribute to product and infrastructure decisions.

The role involves training and deploying vision-centric and vision-language models in various industrial sectors, ensuring integration into customer systems and performing rigorous evaluations for efficiency and quality.
