Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for melting, casting, and forming operations. Analyze production data, resolve process issues, lead root-cause investigations, support new product introductions, document procedures, train operators, and improve quality, yield, throughput, safety, and cost using Lean and Six Sigma methods.

The Quality Engineer maintains and improves the ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems, conducts audits, manages corrective actions, and supports document, calibration, and change control. The role leads Lean and Six Sigma process improvements, performs root cause and failure analyses, prepares FAI and PPAP documentation, and coordinates customer and supplier quality activities. The engineer also supports manufacturing, new product introduction, employee training, and the Quality Manager.

Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders) to produce parts to blueprint tolerances. Read drawings, use precision measuring tools, maintain production records, report malfunctions, assist with maintenance, follow safety and QA procedures, and occasionally operate a forklift.
