Owns pipeline generation, full-cycle enterprise software sales, account expansion, and complex six- and seven-figure deals. Engages technical buyers and engineering leadership, leads discovery through negotiation and close, develops technical positioning with Field Engineering, and maintains Salesforce pipeline hygiene. The role requires outbound prospecting, enterprise account management, and approximately 25–30% travel. It is based in Materialize’s NYC office with at least three days per week onsite.

Own end-to-end technical delivery for strategic customers, including architecture, SQL development, streaming pipelines, integrations, migrations, production cutovers, and system hardening. Build real-time data solutions using Materialize, Kafka, CDC, cloud infrastructure, and modern data platforms. Support customer engineering teams, create reusable implementation patterns, advise on architecture and scaling, and provide product feedback. The role is based in NYC with hybrid attendance and significant customer travel.

Own the developer experience across onboarding, agent skills, MCP servers, orchestration tools, console, and documentation. Define product strategy, metrics, standards, and roadmap while partnering with engineering, field engineering, marketing, and customers. Drive features from concept through launch, conduct customer research, build demos, and improve product adoption. The role requires strong technical communication, developer tools experience, and comfort with AI-native workflows.

Design and deliver database improvements with attention to correctness, reliability, and performance. Own projects end-to-end (design through on-call), debug complex distributed systems, improve reliability, observability, and automation, collaborate cross-functionally, and share knowledge through mentorship, docs, and public writing.
