Perform OBD system checks, emissions testing, diagnostics, and validation on advanced vehicles. Operate scan tools and data logging software, document findings, report faults, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot vehicle-system issues. The role requires automotive diagnostics or emissions testing experience, OBD-II knowledge, strong computer and documentation skills, and attention to detail. Experience with regulatory testing and CAN-based vehicle communications is preferred.

Perform OBD calibration, diagnostic strategy validation, vehicle testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting for combustion and hybrid/electric powertrains. Use MATLAB, ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, and dSPACE to optimize drivability, validate emissions controls, integrate hardware and software, and support EPA/CARB compliance, testing, and certification. Document calibration processes, test results, and issue resolutions while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
