The Assistant Controller leads financial reporting, consolidation, month-end close oversight, accounting compliance, internal controls, SOX activities, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis across Marmon’s Electrical Group. The role partners with business unit controllers and senior finance leaders, supports acquisitions and finance transformation initiatives, reviews capital expenditures, mentors finance talent, and prepares executive reporting. Approximately 30% travel is required, with potential progression to Company Controller within two to three years.

Own and grow a California sales territory by prospecting and closing new industrial, metals, and manufacturing accounts. Develop territory strategies, expand existing customer relationships, manage pricing and margins, analyze market and competitive trends, forecast revenue, and collaborate with operations, supply chain, and quality teams. The role requires extensive regional travel and focuses on exceeding revenue and margin targets.
