Designs and documents mechanical systems, process equipment, piping, utilities, and facility modifications for regulated biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Leads mechanical design workstreams from concept through commissioning, qualification, and handover. Produces CAD models, layouts, P&IDs, BOMs, calculations, and specifications; reviews vendor drawings; supports procurement, FATs/SATs, installation, and compliance activities. Participates in risk assessments, change control, and CAPA while mentoring junior designers and maintaining engineering documentation.

Supports manufacturing and engineering activities in a commercial biomanufacturing facility. Responsibilities include assisting with operations, troubleshooting, equipment trials, process improvement, data collection, project tracking, SOP and work-instruction updates, training materials, and safety and quality initiatives. The intern gains hands-on experience with biomanufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, documentation, data analysis, and technical communication while working with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Lead U.S. sales strategy and customer development for technical food ingredient and sweetener products. Responsibilities include prospecting, market research, technical presentations, proposals, sales negotiations, relationship management, forecasting, CRM administration, trade show participation, customer support, product feedback, and meeting revenue targets. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers, technical knowledge of sweetener formulation, market analysis, and travel of at least 50%.
