Develop and optimize the ArcticDB time-series database using C++ and Python. Responsibilities include building core database functionality, handling petabyte-scale data, collaborating with users on analytics capabilities, and designing solutions for deployment from individual teams to enterprise environments. The role emphasizes high-performance computing, algorithms, data structures, database and storage technologies, Linux, and cloud storage.

Build and operate security platform services for authentication, authorization, just-in-time access, and short-lived credentials. Develop policy-as-code, integrate identity and secrets-management systems, and support reliable Kubernetes-based production services. Create Python APIs for application and AI-agent teams, implement observability and alerting, contribute SIEM detection rules, and provide on-call support. The role also involves infrastructure-as-code, GitOps deployments, network security controls, and secure platform enablement.

Support governance of service accounts and machine identities by investigating ownership, usage, permissions, lifecycle status, and dependencies. Develop Python scripts and automation to improve IAM data quality and controls. Coordinate remediation of dormant or unowned accounts, maintain auditable records, translate operational issues into technical requirements, validate IAM changes, and communicate risks and resolutions to technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
