The Director of Finance oversees accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, forecasting, loan servicing accounting, audits, tax filings, and internal controls. The role leads finance staff, manages banking, auditor, vendor, and loan-servicer relationships, supports executive and Board decision-making, and advises on loan underwriting, credit risk, and troubled-asset workouts. The position also manages the Finance department budget and participates in organizational leadership and loan committees.

Serve as primary consumer contact and provide administrative support for homeownership: process mail and original notes, monitor loan pipeline and eDocs, perform data entry and quality control, prepare invoices and purchase orders, attend meetings, take minutes, conduct rate surveys, and represent MaineHousing at outreach events.
