Teams at Maine State Credit Union

Maintains accounting records, prepares journal entries and financial reports, reconciles general ledger and transaction accounts, supports month-end and year-end close, processes payments, analyzes discrepancies, and reviews accounting work. The role also mentors team members, improves accounting processes, and supports special projects while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Leads the credit union’s BSA/AML, CFT, OFAC, regulatory reporting, fraud prevention, and detection programs. Oversees investigations involving payment, account takeover, ACH, wire, check, card, and digital fraud. Provides leadership to compliance and fraud staff, maintains risk assessments and internal controls, and partners with executives, auditors, examiners, and law enforcement to address financial crime risks.
