Provide post-operative surgical co-management, urgent and walk-in eye care, comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and medical optometric care. Build and manage a patient panel while collaborating with ophthalmologists, surgical teams, technicians, and administrative staff. Document care in the electronic health record and work in a high-volume clinical environment. The role offers a 4.5-day schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties.

Leads strategic and day-to-day operations across a multisite ophthalmology practice. Oversees department managers, surgical scheduling, facilities, marketing, patient experience, budgeting, performance metrics, process improvement, change management, and organizational initiatives while partnering with clinical and administrative leaders.

Performs ophthalmic patient screening, diagnostic testing, medication administration, documentation, procedure assistance, patient education, and ophthalmologist scribing. Supports contact lens services by interpreting prescriptions, coordinating insertion and removal training, processing orders, verifying insurance, handling billing, managing supplies, and communicating with patients, providers, and vendors. May train staff on medical contact lenses and provide administrative and technical cross-coverage.

Assist perioperative team in an ambulatory surgical center by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile technique, gathering and stocking supplies, positioning patients, returning instruments to decontamination, and maintaining documentation and inventory. Work Monday–Thursday with occasional schedule flexibility to support patient care and quality standards.
